Empty Bowls Project 2025
A grassroots effort to raise both money and awareness in the fight to end hunger — March 16, 2025 at Bistro '52 in Memorial Hospital.
Feeding Our Neighbors,
One Bowl at a Time
The Union County Empty Bowls Project 2025 was a collaborative initiative combining clay, culinary arts, and community spirit to raise awareness about food insecurity. In partnership with Crooked Door Studio and The Marysville Art League, volunteers across Union County crafted and glazed ceramic bowls for the Community Meal held on March 16, 2025 at Bistro '52 in Memorial Hospital.
Over 600 unique, hand-crafted bowls were created and guests enjoyed gourmet soup, homemade bread, and dessert prepared by local chefs and bakers. Each bowl — a collector's item — serves as a lasting reminder that no bowl should be empty.
